The previous Premier League meetings between Wigan
Athletic and West Bromwich Albion in 2005-06 were won by
the host team .It is the second year of Steve Bruce in charge of the Latics,and would like to make their first back-to-back wins this season in 50 Premier League outings.

Emmerson Boyce and Mario Melchiot has since been welcomed by Bruce .Both defenders trained on Thursday after suspension
and injury respectively. It was a difficult decision for Bruce after RyanTaylor's fine performance as stand-in right-back againstEverton on Monday.
Striker Amr Zaki is again absent because of a calf strain,
whereas Henri Camara will be given the chance to
build on his match-winning performance on Monday with a rarestart.
